Music videos (aka promotional videos) are released by musicians to promote their latest or upcoming album. Some videos are empty vessels created only to mesmerize with pretty faces or to bedazzle with kickass dance moves. However, many music videos have become true works of art that share the artist's worldview, convey deep thoughts or create awareness.
Sure, it is fun to watch the dancing and the beauties, but that is not the kind of music video that I prefer and not the one that I will be analyzing through this blog.
